De vijfde editie van 'It's all Graphic' stond in het teken van de lancering van de website 1000illustraties.org. Over in60seconds Animatiestudio in60seconds ontwikkelt creatieve concepten, animaties, infographics, en videoproducties. We zijn gespecialiseerd in het overbrengen van een complexe boodschap in korte tijd. Wij introduceerden de term ‘explanimation’; animaties die verklaren, uitleggen of promoten.

1000 Illustraties

This animation was made as part of my internship in in60seconds studio in Amsterdam. The animation was created for a 1000 Illustraties event in Pakhuis de Zwijger, where '1000illustraties.org' was presented. Event hosted 6 speakers in filed of illustration and animation - Rogier Trompert, Kim Raad, Gert Gerrits, Markus Praat, Talitha Snel and Helen van Vliet.

Animation was projected during the event on 9 screens, creating dynamic atmosphere 180° around audience. It metaphorically shows the main aim of the event - archiving works from different illustrators through time. Ants as a symbol of a hard work and archiving are collecting pieces from a different plants, drawn in different styles in the middle anthill, where a title “1000 Illustraties” is placed.
